Randy came out to replace my concrete patio in Maple Plain, MN. Excellent work and competitive price - a great value considering the quality of the work he does. Was a tough job and it was completed swiftly. Highly recommended!
Randy and his crew were a pleasure to work with. I don't normally leave reviews, but they provided over the top service and I HIGHLY ecommend them! Randy returned my call right away, got the job done sooner than expected and was done the right way. Definitely will call them for my next concrete project!
They just poured our walkway today. We could NOT be happier! My husband used to do this kind of work before he became disabled. He does not EVER complement people and nothing is ever good enough for him. He is very pleased!!
Randy and his team were great to work with. They are hard workers, they don’t take shortcuts, are knowledgeable, honest, they cleanup after themselves and they work well with other vendors. Randy’s price quote was reasonable compared to other concrete vendors who tried to gouge us and pressure us to immediately sign their proposal. Randy’s team arrived when he told us they would, they were friendly and nice, and we could not have been more grateful for the work they did. Our lower level patio and garage floor turned out better than we could have ever imagined! We strongly recommend Mickelson Concrete to you for whatever concrete projects you may be considering.

When we first started our quest to find a concrete repair company, to repair damaged foundation blocks under our garage, we were woefully unprepared for the wide range of bids we would receive. We met with six concrete companies; four of which gave us completely different assessments and bids that seemed grossly overpriced, and the two we liked seemed to match our understanding of what needed to be done, but only one offered a fair price. Mickelson Concrete impressed us right away with a no-nonsense explanation of the issues we faced and the root cause. Their professionalism was unmatched compared to the other five companies we met with and their prices are fair. On project day, Mickelson Concrete arrived on time and got to work right away. While reviewing the work that was to be completed, we realized that a solution to solve the water issues that caused the foundation to rot was not on the bid (our fault - we had only focused on the blocks). I asked if they could add it on, and after a few moments of problem-solving, the project lead agreed and gave a quick/fair bid which we accepted. The team worked calmly and everyone was very professional. The workers were kind to our two kids who were very curious about where the concrete goes. They finished the project in one day and ended up charging less for the drainage run-off that they installed to solve our water issue than we expected. There are many concrete companies in the South Metro but Mickelson Concrete wins in all categories; professionalism, quality, price, and knowledge (problem-solving).

Rafael and Al did a great job removing gravel and installing a driveway apron. A small job done with care and quality. The workers were so nice and even stuck around to help my son put his hand print in the wet cement, something he has always wanted to do. I really appreciate the work they did.
Had Mickelson Concrete do an apron at my house and it turned out perfect. These guys know what they are doing and do it for a fair price. Will use them again next time I need concrete work done!

Mickelson Concrete went above and beyond! Hired Mickelson Concrete to replace a flight of stairs on my 100+ year old building. As one can imagine, some problems arose with the old foundation but Randy and his crew handled it with ease and exceeded my expectations! They also repaired some old cracks and did some tuck-pointing on the brick. Couldn’t be happier with the job and will definitely be hiring Mickelson Concrete for our future endeavors!
Randy did our first patio 7 years ago and it still looks perfect. When we decided to add on to our patio and replace our front walk up to the steps, he was our first and only call. Outstsanding work and pricing. While his team was here, they also dug out and got rid of the rock in our gardens. I am thrilled about the job Michelson Concrete did for me. They removed the old driveway, 80 feet long, started setting forms. The next day finished setting form, brought in fill the good stuff, compacted the fill. Installed the 1/2 inch rod, did the driveway in 2 pours, came back another day saw cut the concrete and sealed it. Came back another day and filled in black dirt where the forms were. Randy and his crew replaced our cracked sidewalk and front steps. Replaced them with double the size landing, steps and sidewalk. We love it. Makes the house look brand new. They were always on time, polite, and finished the project in a timely fashion. He was able to add beautiful curb appeal to our house. And Randy helped guide us through the design process. I would highly recommend Mickelson concrete. And when we have the backyard ready, I will be calling Randy for a new patio.
We hired Mickelson Concrete to put a slab in for a hottub at our cabin recently. Randy and his crew did a phenomenal job. We had some other contractor friends over shortly after who both mentioned how well done the concrete was. Overall, Mickelson Concrete was fast to respond to our inquiry, super friendly, easy to work with and fair priced for the high-quality work they did. I was given a thorough explanation of how the work would be done. The new walkways and steps look great. Randy went the extra mile and put back large landscaping rocks that had to be moved as well as my planters. He even added new topsoil to gaps left when the forms were removed, and put grass seed down. I don’t think many contractors, if any, would have taken that extra care.
Concrete patio was done. Very polite and professional, explained every step along the way and was very nice to answer all my questions. Patio looks great and will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for services.
I recently needed a company to install a slab of concrete in my backyard for an outdoor dog kennel. Randy and his crew were phenomenal. They were very polite and professional.
